Mimi’s Doughnuts appears weekly in the finest New England newspapers, and quarterly in Mimi’s Doughnuts Zine.
MEET THE CAST – ABOUT MIMI’S SYNDICATION

BACKGROUND:
Creator Marek Bennett bases the strip loosely on several actual childhoods in NH… The characters and events are of course all fictional, but usually there is at least a grain of truth in every story. (In the case of some of the more far-out, unlikely, improbable, less-believable plotlines… it’s probably all true.)
For articles and more information about Mimi’s, visit our LINKS page.
Marek draws each strip by hand, and uses his computer to add colors. You can learn more about Marek’s process by enrolling in his Comics Workshop programs!
Episodes appear on this site after they appear in print; the typical lag time is one to two weeks. If a recent strip hasn’t appeared yet, then check back in a few days. Or better yet… subscribe to the RSS feed, and get the notification when the strip is posted!
Sure was a pleasure to meet all three of you at Anne & Bunny’s Boxing Day Affair.
Marek, you are one talented guy…with a very talented family! Congratulations, and keep up the good work! Karen & Dave
Thanks, Karen & Dave! It was great to meet you, too. What a good chorus of carolers we had at that party!
We’ll be making lots of changes to the site over the next few months as we rebuild it, so keep us posted on how it looks on your end.

I was a teenager from Springfield, VT in the late 50′s and early 60′s, and hung around in Claremont, NH a fair amount then. It’s nice to see something cute, creative and funny based on an area I’m somewhat familiar with. Keep the wonderful stuff coming!

Larry –
Thanks! Claremont, NH is a really intriguing place with an amazing history, and it sounds like you’re a part of it!
Shayna’s Claymont is right on the river looking over into Vermont… (could that be your Springfield?)
